Max wanted a frog cake, so here it is! It was quite yummy too... the icing was a Swiss meringue buttercream , and was not the right icing for the technique I was attempting. I did not want to use fondant to cover the cake and tried a technique using paper towels to smooth partially dried buttercream icing. The icing I made does not dry out, which would be great in any other cercumstance! Anyway, it ended up working well, just not as expected. All in all a success though, I think.
